High School Program
PAGE opportunities continue when girls enter 9th grade, with mentoring and new learning projects that help support girls throughout their high school journeys.
Through our High School Program, we seek to empower young women with ladders of opportunity that help them achieve their full potential and desired futures.
We are proud in PAGE’s second decade to launch an expanded menu of opportunities for girls in high school.
Our High School Program participants benefit from:
- Summer Program opportunities. By popular demand, girls in rising 9th-12th grades can attend the July session of our Summer Program -- a hands-on STEAM Lab that changes each year, led by real scientists, teaching artists and professionals who make learning fun and engaging.
- A High School Fellowship Program for qualified applicants in 11th and 12th grades (recent graduates will be considered as well). This is a paid position available to 3-4 people each year, with priority given to those students with at least one previous PAGE experience. PAGE Fellows gain professional development skills, receive mentorship from PAGE staff and college interns on their future career goals, and participate in a rigorous program related to the documentary arts. Fellows must apply in the Spring to be considered for this year-long opportunity. Fellows will participate in the June session of the Summer Program, then complete flexible service hours over the year in their chosen field of interest.
- Our annual college immersion field trip in July – available to all active PAGE participants in grades 9-12 who attend the Summer Program.
Fellows Application Period: Open until Friday, May 10th, 2024.

As a PAGE girl since the very beginning, I have been given many opportunities such as touring Duke University and UNC – Chapel Hill, two amazing colleges. I was given the opportunity to stay in a dorm at Davidson College, which really helped me put into perspective what college life would be like.
PAGE has taught me what greatness arises from pursuing a higher education. I looked at the College Interns and decided that I wanted to be like them.
I’m happy to say that I will be part of UNC Chapel Hill’s Class of 2024.
